Coronavirus update 13 March 2020

COVID-19: See the latest information about support services, Council facilities and closures.

Dedicated flu vaccination sessions will begin in late April 2020 at Hawthorn Arts Centre. Please check our Flu vaccination page regularly for updates.

We will continue to run our other immunisation services as usual from the Hawthorn Arts Centre at the times below to ensure the community is protected from vaccine preventable diseases.

We are monitoring the progress of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic and will update you if any services are impacted. Please come back here regularly to check for updates.

Immunisation sessions at Hawthorn Arts Centre

Public immunisation sessions (excluding the flu vaccine) will be held at Hawthorn Arts Centre on the following dates:

  • Friday 3 April: 9:30am to 11:30am
  • Monday 6 April: 5:30pm to 7pm
  • Tuesday 7 April: 9:30am to 11:30am
  • Tuesday 14 April: 5:30pm to 7pm

The health and safety of our community and Council staff is our top priority. We are operating under guidance from the Department of Health and Human Services and implementing additional clinical infection control measures to minimise any risk.

During this time, we are requesting that only those who need to be vaccinated attend and additional family members remain at home.

If you or your child have any flu or cold like symptoms or have recently travelled overseas, we ask that you don’t attend an immunisation session.

If you have any questions, please contact our Immunisation Services team on 9278 4711 or email [email protected]
