The 2020 Boroondara Eisteddfod will take place online from 16 April to 3 June.

This year’s competition will take place online, allowing entrants to participate in the Eisteddfod virtually, with the wider community able to view a selection of performances via the web.

Our revised approach to the 2020 program is made in the hope that delivering this event digitally will provide a meaningful focus for many, particularly our school-aged entrants, during an otherwise uncertain time.

Online Eisteddfod: how does it work?

  1. Solo entrants upload a video of their performance.
  2. Adjudicators review the performance, then send each entrant a report.
  3. Results will be published online within one week of the performance.
  4. For those entrants wishing to share their work, an online gallery of selected videos will be created for the wider community to view and enjoy.

For a step-by-step guide, see Information for participants.
